§ 8 Use of Google AdWords Conversion

(1) We use Google AdWords to advertise our services on external websites. We analyze the data from the advertising campaigns in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the measures. Our aim is to show you relevant advertising, make our website more attractive and charge fair advertising costs.

(2) Google delivers these advertisements via ad servers and uses ad server cookies to measure success. If you access the website via a Google ad, a cookie is stored on your PC, which generally loses its validity after 30 days and is not used for personal identification. The unique cookie ID, number of ad impressions per placement, last impression and opt-out information are stored.

(3) These cookies enable Google to recognize the user's Internet browser and to recognize whether the user has clicked on an ad and has been redirected to the Adwords customer's site. Each Adwords customer receives a different cookie that cannot be tracked via the websites of other customers. No personal data is collected or processed, but only statistical evaluations are provided in order to recognize the effectiveness of the advertising measures.

(4) By using marketing tools, your browser automatically establishes a connection with the Google server. We have no influence on the data that is collected through the use of these tools. By integrating AdWords Conversion, Google receives information about whether you have accessed the relevant part of our website or clicked on one of our ads. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google, the provider can save your IP address.

(5) There are various options for not participating in a tracking process: You can change your browser settings so that third-party cookies are suppressed in order not to receive ads from third-party providers. You can block cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain"www.googleadservices.com". You can disable interest-based ads from providers that are part of the "About Ads" self-regulatory campaign or permanently disable them in Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome. No merging with personal data takes place. The legal basis for the processing of the data is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.

(2) By using marketing tools, your browser automatically establishes a connection with the Google server. We have no influence on the data that is collected through the use of this tool. Through DoubleClick, Google receives the information that you have visited our website or clicked on an advertisement. If you are registered with Google, the visit can be assigned to your account. Even without registration, it is possible that Google will store your IP address.

(3) You can prevent participation in this tracking process in various ways: a) by setting your browser software accordingly; in particular, suppressing third-party cookies means that you will not receive any ads from third-party providers; b) by deactivating cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain "www.googleadservices.com", https://www.google.de/settings/ads, whereby this setting will be deleted when you delete your cookies; c) by deactivating the interest-based ads of the providers that are part of the "About Ads" self-regulation campaign via the link http://www.aboutads.info/choices, whereby this setting will be deleted when you delete your cookies; d) by permanently deactivating them in your Firefox, Internet Explorer or Google Chrome browsers under the link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin. We would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent.
